Topless in Venice

Protesters gathered in Venice Beach to give women and men equal rights -- to bathe topless.

"Free your boobies, free your mind!"

"Put the 'tit' back in 'Constitutional!' "

"Nobody likes tan lines!"

These were just some of the rallying cries that united the "Go Topless Day" protestors at the Venice Boardwalk yesterday afternoon.

They say the human body is a masterpiece and shouldn't be covered up, especially at the beach.

Protesters of both sexes patrolled Ocean Front Walk in Venice Beach Sunday morning calling for what they say is an unconstitutional exercise of gender discrimination.

The protest, in its 4th year, emphasizes that if men are allowed to bear their chests in public, then women should be able to do the same.

"I think they're crazy, but they do it every year. I think it's cool!" one business owner said.

Signatures were also collected to be presented to President Obama in Washington D.C. on Women's Equality Day next week.
